On April 3, 2025, the Vietnam Xiangqi Federation officially issued Decision No. 38/QĐ-LĐCTVN, recognizing the S-Group Xiangqi Club as a collective member of the Federation. This marks an important milestone, acknowledging the club’s ongoing efforts in promoting Xiangqi and opening up new opportunities for exchange and collaboration with sports organizations and clubs across the country.
The S-Group Xiangqi Club has been an active contributor to the development of Xiangqi in Vietnam. Becoming a collective member of the Vietnam Xiangqi Federation not only provides the club with greater support in terms of professional training and organizational resources, but also creates favorable conditions to expand its activities and influence.
According to the decision issued by the Federation, the S-Group Xiangqi Club is responsible for promoting the development of Xiangqi in its local area by formulating specific action plans, organizing tournaments and exchange events to foster the overall growth of this intellectual sport. At the same time, the club is committed to working closely with the Vietnam Xiangqi Federation in nurturing, selecting, and training young players, contributing to the improvement of Xiangqi playing standards nationwide.
In addition, the S-Group Xiangqi Club will focus on key tasks assigned by the Vietnam Xiangqi Federation, such as:

Attracting new members and organizing various activities to enhance players’ skills.

Hosting and participating in tournaments organized by the Vietnam Xiangqi Federation, while also creating playing opportunities for the Xiangqi enthusiast community.

Developing long-term plans, including training programs, exchange events, and cooperation with other clubs nationwide.
Ensuring sustainable funding for operations and proactively mobilizing sponsorships to maintain and expand its organizational scale.
