ACUD Vietnam Technology Construction Joint Stock Company – a member of S-Group – is honored to serve as the consulting unit for the comprehensive adjustment project of Bien Hoa City’s master plan to 2045.
This was emphasized by Mr. Nguyễn Hồng Lĩnh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, during a working session on January 9, 2024, to review the report on the comprehensive adjustment of Bien Hoa City’s master plan to 2045.
Also attending the session were: Mr. Võ Tấn Đức, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Acting Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; leaders from the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee; and heads of various departments and sectors, including Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, Planning and Investment, Transport, Industry and Trade, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Agriculture and Rural Development, as well as the Standing Committee of the Bien Hoa City Party Committee and the leadership of the Bien Hoa City People’s Committee.
Presenting the comprehensive adjustment of Bien Hoa City’s master plan to 2045, Mr. Bạch Ngọc Tùng – representative of the consulting unit ACUD Vietnam Joint Stock Company – stated that the objective of the adjustment is to gradually transition from the “industrial urban” model to a “service-oriented and industrial urban” model, aiming towards the development of a smart and sustainable city. Bien Hoa City’s development space will be distributed across five regions, including the central city area and four surrounding zones.
Concluding the working session, Mr. Nguyễn Hồng Lĩnh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that this master plan adjustment for Bien Hoa City marks a transformative step for the city to enter a new phase of development.
“In the past, when people spoke about Bien Hoa, they always thought of it as an industrial city. This is the first time we are discussing Bien Hoa’s development goals in the direction of a service-oriented and industrial urban model,” Secretary Nguyễn Hồng Lĩnh stressed.
To achieve these development goals, the plan must focus on reducing industrial and agricultural production spaces while increasing spaces for high-end services and tourism. This will enable Bien Hoa to become a top-tier tourist city in the future, leaving a strong impression with its 325-year history of Bien Hoa – Đồng Nai. Key initiatives include developing traffic connections that align with the city’s stature and linking with surrounding cities, establishing important traffic axes into boulevards, and mitigating urban pollution by relocating industrial activities outside the city or rationally organizing industrial parks and clusters.
Furthermore, it is necessary to prepare an orderly, scientific, and modern commercial infrastructure system; sustainably utilize riverside economic potential; develop residential spaces in certain areas; expand green spaces to create a “lung” for Bien Hoa; enhance underground spatial development; and allocate land for social infrastructure development, including high-end event centers, schools, healthcare facilities, and more.
