According to information from the 17th Ministerial Conference on Vietnam-Singapore Economic Connectivity held in Hanoi on August 28: Singapore is one of the leading investors in Vietnam with more than 3,000 active projects, with a total registered capital exceeding 70 billion USD.
The Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP) are symbols of economic cooperation between the two countries, covering over 7,000 hectares of land, attracting approximately 18 billion USD in investment, and creating over 312,000 jobs.
S-GROUP Vietnam and ACUD Consult are honored to accompany and participate in the design of industrial park projects that are part of one of the most significant symbols of the 50-year economic cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore, including the Vinh Thanh Industrial Park (Can Tho City) and the Quang Tri Industrial Park (Quang Tri Province).

Singapore is currently one of Vietnam’s most important economic partners in the region. The two countries are consistently among the top 15 largest trading partners of each other, with Vietnam being Singapore’s 12th largest trading partner and Singapore being Vietnam’s 15th largest trading partner. The total trade volume between Vietnam and Singapore in 2022 reached approximately 9.15 billion USD, an increase of 11.57% compared to 2021.
The Vietnam-Singapore economic cooperation involves five key pillars: energy connectivity; sustainable development; infrastructure; digital and innovation technologies; and connectivity (covering areas such as education, finance, information technology and telecommunications, tourism, investment, trade and services, and transportation).
These are also the areas covered under the upgraded Framework Agreement on Economic Connectivity between Vietnam and Singapore, which will be signed during the official visit of Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to Vietnam from August 27–29, 2023.
