On the morning of March 13, S-Group Corporation and the Vietnam Xiangqi Federation held a meeting with the Jiangsu Xiangqi delegation from China. The event not only strengthened the cooperative relationship between the two sides but also featured high-level matches between top Xiangqi masters.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Han Minh Cuong, Chairman of S-Group Corporation, with the participation of Deputy General Director Nguyen Hoang Hai, Director of Hung Vuong Company – Mr. Nguyen Tien Dat, Head of Project Development – Ms. Tran Thu Ha, and the company’s staff.

Meanwhile, the Vietnamese Xiangqi delegation welcomed Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Xiangqi Federation; Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Deputy Director of Vietnam Xiangqi; and Mr. Luu Duc Hai, Vice Chairman of the Federation and former Director General of the Urban Development Department. Also in attendance were National Chess Master Nguyen Phi Liem and other renowned players.
Within the framework of the event, a series of exciting Xiangqi exhibition matches took place. The event was particularly special with the presence of Grandmaster Nguyen Thanh Bao—one of Vietnam’s top Xiangqi masters—alongside legendary Chinese player Liu Zongzhe and Taiwanese Grandmaster Ma Zhenglun. These intense battles among elite players not only brought an atmosphere of competitive enthusiasm but also fostered mutual understanding and cultural exchange between the two sides.
