On October 17th, at the Department of Construction of Son La Province, ACUD Consult – a member company of S-Group Vietnam – held a report session on the implementation of the contract for building a planning management database (CSDL) and providing online planning information on the GIS platform for Son La Province in Phase II (2022 – 2023).
Chairing the session, Mr. Hà Ngọc Chung – Director of the Department of Construction of Son La Province, gave positive feedback on the progress and quality of the CSDL system.
The report session was attended by Mr. Phạm Tài Anh – Head of the Planning Department and representatives from various departments of the Department of Construction of Son La Province. From ACUD Consult, Mrs. Trần Thu Hà – Head of the Project Development Department of S-Group Vietnam, and Mr. Trần Văn Hảo – Technical Director of ACUD Consult, were present.
During the report session, S-GROUP’s software solutions were highly appreciated for their effectiveness and user-friendly features in accessing and searching for information. This is also one of the three main databases that the Department of Construction of Son La Province is focusing on completing in order to promote digital transformation in the process of developing policies, plans, and strategies for the construction sector in both the Department and the Province.

GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is a tool developed to manage urban databases in the form of map layers (urban planning, technical infrastructure, housing, etc.), integrated into the national geographic data system within the national reference system and coordinate system.
This system allows the display of filtered, analyzed, summarized, and calculated information layers according to user requirements. Establishing the GIS system serves as the foundational platform to provide the database for implementing planning, managing smart urban operations, and integrating utilities to serve citizens and businesses.
