On March 17, 2023, at the S-Group office, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between S-Group Vietnam Joint Stock Company and the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of Lao Cai Province.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Hán Minh Cường – Chairman of the Board of Directors of S-Group, Mr. Hán Anh Vũ – Director of CTECH Vietnam Technology Joint Stock Company, Mr. Trần Văn Hảo – Director of Vietnam Gold Land Technology and Estate Investment Joint stock company, Mr. Nguyễn Tiến Đạt – Director of Hùng Vương Construction and installation Joint Stock Company, Mr. Đoàn Ngọc Sơn – Real Estate Investment Officer at SCity, Ms. Trần Thị Hà – Head of S-Group Project Development Department, along with S-Group staff.
From the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of Lao Cai Province, there were Mr. Bùi Hữu Thiết – Director, and Mr. Nguyễn Văn Quân – Deputy Director.
At the beginning of the meeting, representatives from S-Group and the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning (KTQHXD) of Lao Cai Province shared insights into their respective activities and future plans to have a clearer direction for their cooperation.
For S-Group, the company is currently operating with an open system that allows various parties to collaborate and develop applications. At the same time, the Group is offering several solutions in urban planning.
S-Group’s ecosystem, with its member companies operating in diverse fields, has been performing effectively and has built a sustainable and promising customer base. These include: Ki Dieu Furniture Joint Stock Company, specializing in smart furniture products and interior design; CTECH Vietnam Technology Joint Stock Company – providing products and services utilizing GIS technology, digital data management, the CGIS Planning and CGIS Urban product suites, and VR360 technology based on open-source platforms; ACUD Technology Construction Joint Stock Company, specializing in planning consulting; ACUD Institution of Construction Science and Technology (AIST) – established and led by the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology; Hùng Vương Construction and Installation Joint Stock Company – specializing in water treatment, water supply, and building factory facilities, with major domestic and international partners.
Representatives from S-Group Vietnam and the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of Lao Cai Province discussed the operational status of both organizations.

Regarding the activities of the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of Lao Cai Province, with its strength in planning consulting, the Institute is currently advising on technical infrastructure projects in Lao Cai City and participating in consultancy projects in neighboring provinces such as Cao Bang and Yen Bai. In addition to consulting activities, the Institute has also developed a training department, which both parties consider to have significant potential for long-term cooperation.
Mr. Nguyen Van Quan, Deputy Director of the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of Lao Cai Province, highly appreciated the technological products developed by S-Group, particularly the VR360 technology and the CGIS Planning product suite.
As a planning consultancy unit with an extensive portfolio of potential and reputable partners and clients, the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of Lao Cai Province expects that the collaboration with S-Group will open up new directions and development opportunities for both sides. Currently, the Institute is implementing the Lao Cai Sub-region Planning project, and both parties hope to conduct further research and initiate cooperation in this field in the near future.
