The zoning plan for Tam Nong District (Phu Tho Province) has just been officially approved. ACUD Consult, as the consulting unit responsible for the project, has presented a detailed report on the zoning plan for Tam Nong District until 2035, with a vision extending to 2050.
On September 28, 2023, at the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Phan Trong Tan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, chaired a meeting to report on the zoning plan for Tam Nong District (Phu Tho Province) until 2035, with a vision extending to 2050.
Attendees at the meeting included leaders from various departments and agencies such as Construction, Natural Resources & Environment, Finance, Planning & Investment, Transportation, Agriculture & Rural Development, and the Provincial People’s Committee Office.
On the investor’s side, Mr. Quach Hai Ly – Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Tam Nong District People’s Committee was present.
On the consulting unit’s side, Mr. Nguyen Van Lam – Deputy Director of ACUD Vietnam Construction Technology Joint Stock Company (ACUD Consult), who is the leader of the zoning plan, was accompanied by specialists.
As the consulting unit, ACUD Consult presented the main content of the zoning plan for Tam Nong District (Phu Tho) until 2035, with a vision extending to 2050.

Tam Nông district covers a natural area of 15,559.73 ha, consisting of 11 communes and 1 town. Tam Nông holds an important strategic location as the western gateway to Hanoi, and serves as a transportation hub, with both road and waterway connections linking the Red River Delta with the Northwestern provinces of Vietnam. In addition, Tam Nông plays a significant role in Phú Thọ province, being identified as part of the central economic development region, along with four other localities in Phú Thọ.
The new planning phase outlines that with inter-regional infrastructure already in place and expected to be upgraded, strengthening both internal and external connections, and leveraging the rich natural resources of the midland region, Tam Nông will become a desirable and attractive place for investors, tourists, and residents to live and work.
Development orientation for the spatial planning of Tam Nông district (Phú Thọ province)
The goal is to make Tam Nông one of the leading development centers of Phú Thọ province in terms of Urban Development, New Rural Development, Industry, Trade and Services, Ecotourism, and New Technology Applications.
With inter-regional infrastructure already built and expected to be upgraded, enhancing internal and external connectivity, and utilizing the rich natural resources of the midland region, Tam Nông will evolve into a desirable and attractive place for investors, tourists, and residents to live and work.
After listening to the report, the conference approved the planning scheme for Tam Nông district, assigning the People’s Committee of Tam Nông district and the Department of Construction to complete the necessary procedures for submission and approval in accordance with regulations.
