On June 17, 2011, ACUD Company presented a report on the rural development planning proposal for the communes in Me Linh District to the leaders of the People’s Committee of Me Linh District.

Tasked with creating the master plan for 8 out of the 16 communes under the rural development program of Me Linh District, ACUD Company diligently carried out the planning work and presented the preliminary content to the district leaders on June 17. The report covered the orientation for residential areas and production zoning for the communes, as well as the selection of central area locations and planning ideas for construction.

With the unique feature of being one of the most rapidly urbanizing suburban districts of Hanoi, the implementation of rural development in these communes faces many challenges, particularly in aligning urban projects and infrastructure development projects that have been and are being implemented. However, with the enthusiastic support from leaders at all levels, the planning projects have been updated with the most detailed current status, and the planning ideas are highly feasible.

Based on the feedback from the delegates, ACUD Company will continue to study and complete the documentation for submission and approval in June 2011.
