The “Journey of Love” is an annual activity that has been organized for the past eight years by K Hospital and the “Bright Tomorrow” Cancer Patient Support Fund. It is a meaningful gesture of care for patients and their families, as they no longer have to worry about the overcrowded bus stations during the Lunar New Year, the fatigue from long waits is eased, and travel difficulties are reduced. The funding for the buses has been shared with the support of philanthropists, assisting in the transportation to various provinces: Hai Duong – Hai Phong; Thai Binh – Nam Dinh; Phu Tho – Tuyen Quang; Thai Nguyen – Bac Kan; Hoa Binh – Son La; Yen Bai – Lao Cai; Bac Ninh – Bac Giang – Lang Son; Ninh Binh – Thanh Hoa; Nghe An – Ha Tinh.
The participation of businesses and philanthropists not only helps ease the patients’ worries about travel but also spreads the spirit of mutual assistance and enhances the traditional cultural values of the nation.
The program is not just a bus ride bringing patients back home, but also a journey filled with love, trust, and hope for a better New Year.
